Who are you?

I’m the third out of four kids in my family. I, like all my siblings, was born in Georgia, but have spent more than ten years living in Colorado. I love the community here, but miss the trees and humidity of the south. I love books and I’m both a bookworm and a bookdragon. The combined hobbies have managed to overtake six bookshelves in my room alone. When I’m not reading, I enjoy writing my own books, a passion that has taken up the last six years. My projects mostly consist of middle grade and young adult fantasy, but include some sci-fantasy, contemporary, and nonfiction. Apart from writing, I love working with children and helping out at my church. In my spare time, I enjoy crafting, particularly with my Cricut machine.

Where are you going?

I mainly want to pursue my writing and become a self-published author. I plan to publish my first book this fall and will be working on it, and my other big projects, over the summer. After taking a gap period, I plan on joining the Author Conservatory, which is a three year online college alternative for writers. It includes entrepreneurship curriculum, which I’m planning on using with my love of crafting. I plan to continue serving in my church and working with children and preparing to move back to Georgia with my parents and younger sister next year.

Romans 8:28
“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”
