Who are you?

I am a young man with the soul of a seventy-year-old, the goofiness of a four-year-old, and the body of an eighteen-year-old. Coffee runs through my veins, and one of my favorite things is watching people talk about or do the things that God has made them love. Winnie the Pooh is my best friend, second only to Jesus. When I’m not at a speech and debate tournament, you can find me playing the piano, reading, problem solving, thinking about big ideas, drinking coffee, calling or hanging out with friends and family, and, of course, shut up in my room with my Bible. More importantly than anything, I am a follower of Jesus, and God’s love for me defines my life.

Where are you going?

I believe God is calling me to pastoral ministry. My plan at this point is to attend a one year leadership and discipleship school next year, and then go to university. My motivation for my life is to be pleasing to my Heavenly Father, and to share the good news of the gospel wherever I go. I hope one day to be entrusted with a wife and family, and to help care for Jesus’ bride through ministering and shepherding.

Psalm 27:4
“One thing I have desired of the Lord, that will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in His temple.”
